Dr. Jeffrey Scherr
Dr. Jeffrey Scherr has been a part of the dental community for over twenty-five years. Having graduated from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dental School, University of Maryland in 1977, he went on to the General Practice Internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital where he became a Chief Resident in Dentistry in 1978. Dr. Scherr received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1991.
The recent TV shows exhibiting total smile makeovers have become very popular but they’re nothing new to this office. Hundreds of beautiful new smiles have passed through our doors utilizing such techniques as cosmetic bonding, porcelain laminates and our new ZOOM whitening system. With his first porcelain laminates placed in 1981, Dr. Scherr has an extensive experience in this cosmetic procedure
Pediatric dentistry has been a special love in this practice. When the children are not fearful and are eager to return to our office on recall, we know we have been successful. Our greatest reward is seeing children walk out of their first visit to the dentist with smiles on their faces because of the gentle care they have received.
